Automation QA engineer | Senior

The Desktop Applications department is a collaborative team of passionate engineers focused on what can be done instead of what's been done. We build on each other's ideas to solve complex problems by using C#, .NET, SWIFT, Linux, and macOS technologies. Main Responsibilities Design, execute and automate tests for the NordVPN Linux application;Improve and extend the existing test framework;Perform functional and non-functional testing to validate application functionalities;Participate in the full testing lifecycle, from defining requirements to preparing test cases and conducting tests;Develop and implement a quality improvement strategy, taking ownership of quality assurance efforts;Analyze and document bugs, providing actionable recommendations to improve processes and prevent recurrences;Lead end-to-end testing strategies to ensure comprehensive coverage;Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines and processes, automate CI/CD pipelines;Mentor and guide QA team members in the NordVPN Linux App Team;Maintain and scale dynamic testing, integration and test environments. Core Requirements Proactive mindset with a focus on improvement;4+ years of experience in manual testing, test automation, or both;Advanced knowledge of test design and a variety of testing techniques;Strategic thinking with the ability to see the broader picture from both business and technical perspectives;Deep analytical and problem-solving skills;Proficiency with Python;Good understanding of Linux operating systems;VMs experience;Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
