Automated API Software Testing in Node
We are a software startup with an Airbnb-like matching playform for parents-schools. We are looking for an experienced software automated API tester to help us test our Node/Express API -- at the integration and E2E test level. We use Vitest for testing and simply conduct black box tests against our endpoints and third-party services (like Stripe). Intermediate knowledge of Postgres and databases is required to understand our system -- we have over 100 database tables and 200 endpoints. We are looking for someone to come in and take ownership entirely of the API testing to ensure we reach coverage across all our endpoints and test critical parts of our system. You will lead thid project entirely on your own -- understand the system in-depth, create a test-plan and test scenarios and implement the tests on your own. We already have all the systems in place to run our API and all related microservices isolated on a development machine with one command -- the role is focused on someone you is an experienced API tester.
