Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching concepts and skills in the automotive industry, including engine rebuilding, tune-ups, lubrication, ignition, and more. You will develop and implement effective lesson plans, safety policies, and classroom management strategies to ensure a productive and safe learning environment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Teaching automotive concepts and skills to secondary students
Developing and implementing safety policies and procedures
Instructing and supervising students in the use of tools and technology
Creating effective lesson plans and adapting to meet the needs of diverse learners
Maintaining a clean and organized classroom and workshop
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution
National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence's ASE Master Automobile Technician Certification
Passing score on a Content Knowledge Exam (e.g., Praxis II, ACTFL)
Satisfy additional licensure and certification requirements
Minimum of 6 years of work experience in the automotive industry
