Job Description

National General, an Allstate company, is seeking an Auto Field Estimator in North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have previous experience writing material damage estimates (in CCC), and reside near Smithfield, NC to handle our Smithfield, Raleigh, and Rocky Mount territory. Adjuster licensing a huge PLUS!

Job Summary

Responsible for creating a comprehensive estimate of damages for 1st and 3rd party material damage claims leading to the proper disposition.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrates sound estimating fundamentals in order to create estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses

• Demonstrates basic understanding of the content of all policy types written by the company

• Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the file within authority limits

• Applies sound understanding of regulatory compliance and fair claims practices

• Builds functional relationships with both internal and external customers

Education

• 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)

Experience

• 0-2 years experience (Preferred)

Supervisory Responsibilities

• This job does not have supervisory duties.

• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation
Compensation offered for this role is $24.71 - 35.88 per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.
