Job Description Responsible for creating a comprehensive estimate of damages for 1st and 3rd party material damage claims leading to the proper disposition. POSITION IS FOR WESTCHESTER AND ROCKLAND COUNTY, NY AREA. As this is a field-based role, you will be working in these areas daily. **This is a field-based, territory-specific role. The ideal candidate will be located in or near the Westchester and Rockland County, NY area. We are seeking an Auto Field Appraiser with strong time management skills, proficiency in CCC One estimating software, excellent negotiation abilities, and a keen attention to detail. A demonstrated commitment to a customer-focused approach is essential.** Key Responsibilities Demonstrates sound estimating fundamentals in order to create estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses Demonstrates basic understanding of the content of all policy types written by the company Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the file within authority limits Applies sound understanding of regulatory compliance and fair claims practices Builds functional relationships with both internal and external customers Education • 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred) Experience • 0-2 years experience (Preferred) Supervisory Responsibilities This job does not have supervisory duties. Education & Experience (in lieu) In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Compensation Base compensation offered for this role is $20.19 - $37.74 hourly and is based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e. commission, bonus, etc.) as applicable for the role.
