About the position Responsibilities • Work in an onshore-offshore model, with 4-5 offshore developers • Follow engineering best practices and take pride in it • Agile Ceremonies - Participate and Contribute • Applications Development - Analysis Design Development Testing • Support • Team Members • Design storage strategies around backup and recovery for complex database environments, physical structures, and specialized database applications • Partner with agile project teams and interact with enterprise DBAs to find solutions for projects and operational issues in existing and proposed databases • Understand and follow industry best practices and standards • Provide standardization and consistency across environments Requirements • At least 8+ years of experience in PostgreSQL Developer with: • 3+ years of PostgreSQL • 3+ years of scripting experience • Experience with both relational and non-relational DB's like DB2, Mongo, Oracle • Expert level knowledge of stored procedures, SQL, SQL queries and performance optimization • Experience with AWS • AWS certification - cloud practitioner is needed or should be ready to take in next 6-8 weeks • Experienced in performance tuning and optimization analysis, troubleshooting/best practices and procedures • Understands stored procedures, SQL, SQL queries and performance optimization • Aurora PostgreSQL Developer experience, AWS, Experience • CICD tools GIT, Jenkins, SonarQube, Checkmarx • Database Design • Performance Tunning • SQL Query writing • Exposure to AWS needed • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
