Audit Senior - Assurance & Advisory About the Opportunity Our client, a growing national accounting and advisory firm, is currently seeking a Senior Auditor for their Los Angeles, California office. In this remote role, you will work under the direction of our Audit Managers and perform audit and review procedures as assigned. Candidates must reside in the Los Angeles Metropolitan area and be available to travel to local client sites for meetings. Responsibilities • Perform audit and review procedures for client engagements, from planning to issuance • Assess risk and evaluate clients' internal control structures • Perform and document analytical procedures, substantive tests and tests of controls to identify and resolve accounting and reporting issues • Reviewing financial statements and other client deliverables • Direct, train, supervise and review work of auditors and supporting staff • Client development Required Education and Experience • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field • 2+ years of experience in public accounting • Technical Accounting proficiency • Thorough knowledge of GAAP • Current and valid CPA license (or in progress) • Ability to travel to assigned client locations What We Offer • Competitive Compensation: Hourly (non-exempt) + overtime - $38.46 - $40.86/hour ($80,000 - $85,000) • Work Environment: Remote to candidates in the Los Angeles Metropolitan area; must be available for office and client Visits • Benefits: PTO, Insurance (Health, Life, Dental, Vision, HSA, FSA), 401k Apply tot his job
