Position Description...
ย Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with accounting and auditing standards
ย Assist in the preparation of audit reports and communicate findings to management
ย Participate in the development and implementation of audit plans and procedures
ย Perform testing of controls and procedures to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations
ย Collaborate with other departments to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for process enhancements
ย Provide support to audit teams and assist in the training of new staff members
ย Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in accounting and auditing standards
Audit Associate Requirements
ย Bachelors degree in Accounting
ย CPA or CPA Candidate a plus
ย 2-7 yearsย experience
ย Experience with audit and review engagements
ย Construction engagement experience a plus (but not required)
