Audit Associate - Entry Level

Aston Carter is a leading provider of corporate talent solutions, and they are seeking an Entry Level Audit Associate to join their team. The role involves conducting Worker’s Compensation insurance audits, analyzing payroll and accounting records, and ensuring appropriate premiums are billed to customers. Responsibilities Reviewing and analyzing payroll, tax, and accounting records to determine the appropriate premium base for a variety of insurance lines, including Worker’s Compensation, General Liability, and Professional Liability (a.k.a. Errors and Omissions) Obtaining descriptions of business operations, employee job duties, and other relevant information over the phone and through email Determine if proper insurance classification codes have been assigned to customer policies according to the state manuals and suggest class code changes when appropriate Adjust premiums based on state manual rules, such as officer wage adjustments, premium overtime credits, tip credits, etc Complete audit worksheets using an Excel template and process the audit findings in our database Provide superior customer service to the policy Skills Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or Economics 6 months of professional experience (internship included) Eagerness to learn and gain experience Strong Excel knowledge Benefits Great work environment with growth opportunity Current hybrid work schedule includes 2 days in office and 3 days work from home Subsidized downtown parking Competitive compensation Generous PTO package Closed on major holidays 401(k) with company match A fantastic healthcare package Tuition reimbursement after 6 months of employment Company Overview Aston Carter is a staffing and recruiting company providing risk and compliance services.
