Job Title: Church Audio Technician (Freelance/Contract) Location: Kingdom Embassy Church Service Times: •Sunday Mornings: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM • Thursday Evenings: 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM Position Type: Contracted / Professional Services Reports To: Worship Leader & Technical Director ________________________________________ Job Summary: We are seeking a professional Audio Technician to manage and operate the live sound mixing for our church services and events. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering clear, balanced audio across live worship sets, preaching, and playback media. This includes managing soundchecks, service mixing, and providing technical guidance for a permanent sound system setup and future training of team volunteers. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: • Provide live audio mixing during weekly services (Sunday AM, Thursday PM) and special events. • Conduct sound checks and work with worship team, pastors, and speakers to balance levels. • Operate and troubleshoot mixing consoles, microphones, monitors, playback systems, and amplifiers. • Offer consultation and design input for a permanent sound system setup, including placement, cabling, and system optimization. • Assist with marking and labeling of gear for ease of use by the volunteer team. • Create or help maintain audio setup documentation and team training guides. • Coordinate with ministry leaders and staff to meet the evolving needs of worship and event productions. ________________________________________ Preferred Qualifications: • Proven experience with live sound engineering, especially in houses of worship. • Proficient in analog and digital mixers (e.g., Behringer X32, Yamaha TF, Allen & Heath, etc.) • Knowledge of wireless mic systems, IEMs, EQ, compression, and FX chains. • Reliable, punctual, and respectful of the spiritual environment. • Ability to provide at least two professional references. • Must be able to provide quotes for per-service pricing and/or package rates. ________________________________________ Additional Expectations: • Must provide professional service quote(s) for weekly service commitments. • Available for consultation on permanent setup recommendations and gear optimization. • Will work with church staff to develop visual/physical markings on the gear for easy operation. • Open to training volunteer audio team with best practices and system walkthroughs. • Will collaborate on creating a church audio SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) if needed. ________________________________________ To Apply / Submit Quote: Please submit your resume, references, service quote, and equipment consultation rates to: [Insert Email Here] [Insert Contact Number] Apply tot his job Apply tot his job Apply tot his job
