Fantasy Audiobook Narrator Needed (90,000 Words / ACX-Ready Files)

Description:

I’m looking for a skilled and engaging voice actor to narrate and produce a high-quality audiobook version of my fantasy novel. The manuscript is approximately 90,000 words (about 370 pages), and the final deliverables must meet ACX (Audible) submission standards.

This project requires not only great storytelling ability but also technical proficiency in audio production. You should be able to bring the story to life with vivid narration, and ideally, handle different character voices with subtle variation (no over-the-top performances required — just enough to distinguish characters naturally).

Project Requirements:

• Native or fluent English speaker (American or neutral accent preferred)

• Proven experience with audiobook narration (fantasy genre is a plus)

• Ability to deliver fully mastered and edited ACX-compliant audio files, including:

• Opening credits

• Closing credits

• Retail sample (1–5 minutes)

• Each chapter as a separate MP3 file

• High-quality home studio or access to professional recording equipment

• Clean audio with no background noise, clicks, pops, or inconsistencies

• Willing to do minor revisions, especially for pronunciation or pacing

Ideal Candidate:

• Has narrated at least one full-length audiobook before

• Can convey tone, atmosphere, and character voice subtly and effectively

• Understands the rhythm and pacing of long-form narration

• Communicates clearly and meets deadlines
