Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney

Key Responsibilities:
⢠Represent clients in workers' compensation proceedings
⢠Conduct legal research, analyze complex issues, and draft legal documents
⢠Attend hearings and depositions
⢠Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
⢠Effectively manage time and follow Firm procedures
⢠Collaborate with all levels both internal and external
⢠Develop and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues
Required Skills and Qualifications:
⢠Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
⢠Active membership in the California State Bar
⢠Workers' compensation defense experience highly preferred
⢠Ability to identify and analyze complex legal issues and devise solutions
⢠Proactive, client-centered, and tech-savvy
⢠Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
⢠Superior organizational, multi-task, and prioritization skills
⢠Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Physical Requirements:
⢠Ability to sit or stand at a desk for extended periods while working on a computer.
⢠Sufficient dexterity to operate a keyboard and other office equipment.
⢠Ability to observe details, read printed materials, and view computer screens.
⢠Ability to communicate verbally in person and over the phone.
⢠Ability to move within an office environment and operate office equipment.
⢠Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 15 pounds as needed.
⢠Ability to travel to court as required.
Location:
⢠Work remotely (must be residing in CA) or from one of our California offices: Agoura Hills, Oxnard, Encino, Inland Empire, Long Beach, Orange County, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco or San Jose.

Salary: $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year
