Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney

Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Represent clients in workers' compensation proceedings
ā¢ Conduct legal research, analyze complex issues, and draft legal documents
ā¢ Attend hearings and depositions
ā¢ Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
ā¢ Effectively manage time and follow Firm procedures
ā¢ Collaborate with all levels both internal and external
ā¢ Develop and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues
Required Skills and Qualifications:
ā¢ Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
ā¢ Active membership in the California State Bar
ā¢ Workers' compensation defense experience highly preferred
ā¢ Ability to identify and analyze complex legal issues and devise solutions
ā¢ Proactive, client-centered, and tech-savvy
ā¢ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
ā¢ Superior organizational, multi-task, and prioritization skills
ā¢ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Physical Requirements:
ā¢ Ability to sit or stand at a desk for extended periods while working on a computer.
ā¢ Sufficient dexterity to operate a keyboard and other office equipment.
ā¢ Ability to observe details, read printed materials, and view computer screens.
ā¢ Ability to communicate verbally in person and over the phone.
ā¢ Ability to move within an office environment and operate office equipment.
ā¢ Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 15 pounds as needed.
ā¢ Ability to travel to court as required.
Location:
ā¢ Work remotely (must be residing in CA) or from one of our California offices: Agoura Hills, Oxnard, Encino, Inland Empire, Long Beach, Orange County, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco or San Jose.

Salary: $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year
