As an Associate Trader II in the Taxable Trading Department, you will manage capital, execute trades, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while providing exceptional client service.ResponsibilitiesExecute odd-lot retail client liquidations with limited guidance and effectively manage corresponding inventory positions with limited retail-structured capital commitmentsDemonstrated understanding of market analytics, including economic, credit specific, political, etc. impactsDeliver client service excellence by researching and resolving general and non-routine branch inquiriesEnsure best execution and understand all firm and industry regulatory requirementsEstablish an in-depth understanding of internal and external trading systems and related toolsComplete projects to support the trading desk's business plan, including assisting with operational excellence initiativesSkillsB.A./B.S. degree in business, economics, finance, or quantitative related fieldSeries 7 and 66 required or obtained within 6 months of hire9+ months of financial service experience required, capital markets preferredSuccessful completion of Associate Trader I responsibilities or equivalent industry experienceBasic knowledge of capital markets analytics, trading strategies, and risk management techniquesBasic knowledge of internal and external trading systems and related tools, including, but not limited to, Bloomberg, DSTS, and 3rd party electronic trading platformsCandidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per week effective June 1, 2026.
