Associate - Tax Services

Aspiriant is a leading, independent, 100% employee-owned wealth management firm. They are seeking an entry-level Tax Associate who will prepare individual income tax returns, assist with tax planning, and collaborate with wealth managers and clients to support tax preparation and planning efforts. Responsibilities Prepare individual income tax returns and related workpapers; progressively expand to partnerships, corporations, trusts, foundations, and gift returns Provide aid in preparing responses to tax notices, and gain exposure to audits Participate in tax planning and research Participate with wealth managers and clients to ascertain, track, and preserve data needed for tax preparation and planning Assist with ad hoc projects Skills Solid foundation in individual taxation from coursework; eagerness to learn entity tax Familiarity with professional tax software/workpaper systems (we will train) Interest in wealth management and high net worth client service Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word Clear written and verbal communication; strong organizational skills and attention to detail Team-oriented mindset; professionalism in client service Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or equivalent with accounting coursework) Internship or up to 2 years' experience in tax or public accounting CPA eligibility or sections passed; Master's in Taxation or MBT Benefits Collaborative work environment where together we achieve more Environment supportive to learning and growing your career Continuing education assistance program 401(k) with company match Bonus program Company contribution up to 95% for health insurance Hybrid work arrangement Company Overview Aspiriant is a leading, independent wealth management firm that specializes in investment management and wealth planning services.
