Associate QA Analyst

The role involves ensuring quality on front-end web applications and collaborating with product managers and engineers to develop test strategies for new features.ResponsibilitiesEnsure quality on our front-end web applications with a strong focus on UI testingReview business requirements and develop test plans, test cases, test estimations, and test execution reportsPerform functionality, regression, integration, UI, smoke, exploratory, stress and performance testingManage all communications related to QA status on a daily basis and report potential risks during all stages of development lifecycleWork closely with development and product teams to resolve any issues that arise out of the testing processAnalyze test results and facilitate resolution of issuesIterate on existing testing processes and standards to improve efficiency and accuracySkillsBA/BS degree requiredAbility to work both independently and on a wide variety of teamsPassion for making bullet-proof applications and improving education through technologySelf-motivated, detail oriented, proactive and collaborativeExcellent written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of JIRA, Unix, SQL, JavaScript, CSS, source control, and mobile device development is a plusBenefitsBenefitsCompany OverviewAt IXL Learning, we are passionate about improving learning for all.
