These evidence-based tools and content are used by millions of medical professionals globally and support 50+ specialties and cover 200+ patient conditions.The Physician Editors will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and relevance of our clinical content. These part-time positions (~60 hours/year) involve editorial review, content creation, and acting as an ambassador for MDCalc within the specialty-specific and broader medical communities.The RoleRecruit and engage subject matter experts to create contentProvide editorial review of specialty-related feedback and content on MDCalcContribute relevant text for our Clinical Decision Support (CDS) tools, and recruit contributors to do the sameWrite short-form content to educate users about relevant toolsServe as an evangelist for MDCalc to the physician, life science, and healthcare communityAct as an ambassador to connect MDCalc with relevant medical societies and organizationsProvide feedback to enhance the MDCalc user experienceRespond to requests for assistance within 3 business days unless previously excusedParticipate in monthly meetings with MDCalc staffYour BackgroundBoard-certified physician in active clinical practiceStrong academic credentialsDemonstrated ability to author engaging clinical content (e.g., textbooks, journal articles, review articles, blogs, podcasts)Excellent communication and editorial skillsAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyCompensation• Monthly retainer
