Our IT Information Security team plays a pivotal role in protecting our organization's digital assets, ensuring business continuity, and maintaining the highest standards of security across all operations. As an Associate Network Security Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of these efforts, working alongside experienced professionals to design, implement, and maintain security solutions that keep our infrastructure secure and resilient.

What You'll Do

As an Organization Security Partner within our IT Data Security division, you will be responsible for providing design services and support to ensure the functional sustainability of the critical infrastructure that supports arenaflex's applications, customers, partners, and vendor connectivity. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the security and integrity of our network systems.

Key Responsibilities


Infrastructure Security Management: Provide IT support to secure internal, partner, vendor, and external connectivity to arenaflex and tenant applications across multiple critical data center infrastructures. You'll ensure robust security measures are in place for all network connections.

Firewall Operations: Oversee firewall hardware and software maintenance, including site implementations, inventories, infrastructure planning, preventive maintenance, and break/fix services in data center critical infrastructure. You'll work with cutting-edge security technologies to protect our systems.

Enterprise Remote Access Support: Collaborate with the cloud service provider to align our client edge security technology with client-managed agents on workstations. You'll leverage advanced technologies including Application ID and User ID for granular user identification and access control.

Airport Operations Support: Provide IT support for airport operations mobile network configuration, Netmotion, hardware, and software maintenance. This includes site implementations, inventories, infrastructure planning, preventive maintenance, and break/fix services in data center critical infrastructure.

Policy Development: Work with business divisions through consultation services responsible for firewall policies and access control guidance. You'll ensure security policies align with business objectives while maintaining the highest protection standards.

On-Call Support: Provide functional on-call support of critical offices and infrastructure components for Network Security. You'll help ensure enterprise applications and customer services remain available at 99.999% SLA (Service Level Agreement).

Data Integrity & Governance: Support the IT Information Security division in maintaining the integrity and governance continuity of enterprise data and applications. You'll implement departmental policies, guidelines, standards, and procedures.

Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with all governing corporate standards and guidelines. You'll stay current with industry regulations and best practices to maintain our security posture.

Project Management: Lead data center and remote communication room standards capital improvements, upgrades, and enhancements. You'll manage projects from conception through completion while ensuring quality and budget compliance.

Vendor Management: Maintain accurate documentation, secure the best product and service pricing, and ensure that vendors meet their contractual obligations. You'll build and maintain strong relationships with our technology partners.


What You Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications


Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.

Networking & Security Knowledge: A strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls, and security protocols. Knowledge of cloud networking and security principles is also important.

Infrastructure Management: Experience managing and maintaining server infrastructure on-premises and in the cloud environments.

Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to analyze and resolve issues related to managed security tools and their integration with various systems.

Monitoring & Analysis: Proficiency in monitoring and analyzing security logs and events to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.

Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with end-users, understand their needs, and provide adequate support. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities are essential.

Vendor Management: Ability to collaborate with cloud service providers and ensure that Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met.

Adaptability: Willingness to support operations with changing shifts, extended hours, and open availability. You must be flexible and responsive to evolving business needs.

Self-Motivation: The ability to independently complete tasks with minimal guidance and direction while maintaining high-quality standards.

Team Collaboration: Build and maintain effective communication and relationships with supervisory teams, vendors, and colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications


Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA Security, or similar credentials
Experience with enterprise security tools and technologies
Knowledge of industry compliance standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, HIPAA)
Experience in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
Understanding of zero-trust security architecture
