Associate Manager, Fund Accounting - Hedge Funds/Private Equity; East Coast Region

At SS&C Technologies, we are seeking a highly skilled and driven individual to join our team as an Associate Manager in our Fund Accounting department, specializing in Hedge Funds and Private Equity. This role will be based on the East Coast region and requires a strong understanding of the investment management industry. As an Associate Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team, providing top-notch services to our clients. Manage and oversee the Fund Accounting team, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks and deliverables. Provide specialized expertise in Hedge Funds and Private Equity to support the team and clients. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, addressing any inquiries or concerns in a professional and timely manner. Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to investment management and incorporate them into team processes and procedures. Train and mentor team members to ensure growth and development within the department. Monitor team performance and provide feedback and coaching to improve overall performance. Collaborate with other departments, such as Operations and Client Services, to ensure seamless service delivery to clients. Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures. Generate and analyze reports to track team productivity and identify areas for improvement. Participate in departmental and company-wide meetings and initiatives to contribute to the overall success of the organization. Demonstrate a strong understanding of financial and accounting principles and apply them to daily tasks and client interactions. Maintain strict confidentiality of client information and adhere to company security protocols. Take initiative to identify process improvements and implement them to increase efficiency and accuracy.
