Job Summary Theoria Medical is seeking an experienced Employment Attorney to oversee employment-related litigation and manage insurance coverage matters impacting labor and employment risks. This role is critical to protecting Theoria’s legal and financial interests across a complex regulatory landscape. The attorney will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external counsel to mitigate legal risk, ensure regulatory compliance, and support a healthy workplace culture across our business operations. Shift Structure Remote position, Full Time, M-F, 40-50 hours/week Preferred hours: 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. ET Key Responsibilities Legal Counsel & Compliance Provide strategic advice on employment law issues, including performance management, terminations, accommodations, leaves of absence, and workplace policies. Lead or oversee internal investigations involving employee complaints or potential legal exposure. Recommend corrective actions or legal strategies to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies. Stay current on federal, state, and local employment laws and advise HR and management on compliance. Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and training programs related to employment practices.
