Associate General Counsel and Senior Director of Compliance

Associate General Counsel & Senior Director of Compliance Full-time (Remote) Pinnacle Treatment Centers is a leading, fast-growing provider of addiction treatment services, serving over 35,000 patients daily nationwide. We are seeking a strategic legal and compliance leader to join our team as Associate General Counsel & Senior Director of Compliance . This role is ideal for an experienced attorney with a strong background in healthcare regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and employment law within a multi-state healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities Legal Support Assist with management of external litigation in coordination with outside counsel (e.g., employment, professional and general liability matters) Provide legal guidance on various contract matters such as leases, NDA’s, vendor and payor agreements, and physician arrangements Ensure adherence to federal and state regulations, including the False Claims Act and the Anti-Kickback Statute Prepare and deliver training and communications to promote awareness of compliance and legal issues Maintain and report metrics to leadership Healthcare Regulatory & Compliance Support Lead internal investigations and hotline management Update and manage internal compliance policies Support the review of internal policies and procedures for regulatory alignment Partner with others on audits, investigations, and corrective action plans Assist with monitoring licensing and compliance requirements across states Advise operational leaders on regulatory risk mitigation and compliance controls Develop and oversee corrective action plans and remediation efforts Depending on experience, this attorney may supervise 2-5 team members Corporate & Operational Support Support M&A due diligence and integration efforts as needed Develop practical, business-oriented legal solutions aligned with organizational goals Required Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Active U.S. Bar License 4+ years of relevant legal experience Strong experience in compliance program management Background in healthcare law (in-house or law firm) Preferred Qualifications Experience in multi-state or multi-site healthcare organizations Familiarity with behavioral health / substance use disorder regulations Prior in-house or regulatory experience Benefits Competitive salary + full benefits package 18 days PTO + 8 paid holidays 401(k) with company match Medical, dental, vision, disability & accident insurance Ongoing training & certification opportunities STAR Loan Repayment Program Tuition discounts with Capella University Additional Details Travel: Up to 15% (including occasional overnight travel) Location: Multi-state support role Why Join Pinnacle?
