We are currently looking for an Associate Game Designer with a passion for gaming and a talent for making delightful experiences for players around the world.
Who You Are:
You recently graduated in Game Design and have at least 1 year of game design experience: you contributed to create and release at least one gameYou are an avid gamer and aspire to be a superlative game designerYou are curious and motivated to learn from industry veteransYou have high energy, a positive attitude, and are a creative thinkerYou are available to work full-time within the US West-Cost hours.
How You'll Contribute:
By designing and implementing new features, content or tuning, in collaboration with your teamBy producing core game designs, documentation, balance sheets, systems etc. for teams to execute fromBy working with our players and community to understand their priorities and feedbackBy assessing and applying qualitative and quantitative feedback to improve game engagement and retention
What you'll need:
Experience bringing designs to life using UnityKnowledge/ Coursework of Visual Design - Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator, and basic graphic design sensibilitiesStrong systems design experience Excel/ Google Sheets wizardComfortable with Slack, JIRA and online collaboration suites such as ConfluencePassion for simulation games is a plus(optional) Experience or having taken courseworks in:User Experience (UX; user research, wireframes, iteration)Systems DesignRapid Prototyping
