About the Role:

DoorDash is looking for an experienced Food Safety and Quality Associate to join our Global Safety and Security Team. You will work with Global Safety and Security leadership, in partnership with DashMart and New Business Verticals Operations leadership, to establish, implement, maintain, and continually improve a comprehensive Food Safety and Quality Management Program. You will play a key role in the growth and expansion of DashMart/NBV programming, and help the Global Safety and Security Team to achieve its strategic objectives. You will report into the Environmental Health and Safety Manager for DashMart.

• Develop and implement food safety policies and procedures
• Conduct assessments to understand current behaviors related to food safety, and identify gaps or areas for improvement using data
• Investigate, address, and learn from food safety issues
• Develop food safety training content for site operators
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to instill food safety behaviors into every aspect of our operations
• Utilize feedback mechanisms and performance metrics to monitor the effectiveness of the food safety program

We're excited about you because…
• You have a AS/BS or equivalent certifications in food safety, food science, or a related field
• You have 2+ years of relevant experience in Food Safety
• You have experience in behavior change management in food safety
• You have experience with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP)
• You have a strong understanding of food safety regulations and standards
• You have excellent communication and problem solving skills
• You have experience using technology (Google Suite, Slack, Sigma, etc)
