What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Deliver course content and assessments while engaging students to ensure academic success
Maintain an active and supportive classroom presence, addressing student inquiries and academic issues
Perform additional duties like coaching and tutoring, supporting student learning both inside and outside the classroom
Attend faculty meetings and university events to stay updated on course standards and instructional practices
Instruct in an online environment and adapt to technological changes as required
What Is Required (Qualifications)
Master's degree in Psychology or Applied Psychology, or a Master's degree in any area with 18 graduate semester credits in Psychology (6 in Applied Psychology)
Minimum of 3 years of applicable professional experience
Degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
Experience in applying psychological principles in relevant fields such as social media, marketing, or consulting psychology
Familiarity with adult education teaching and learning theory
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Doctorate degree with practitioner counseling experience or documented research experience in counseling within the last 5 years
High level of problem-solving and decision-making ability
Excellent oral and written communication skills to engage effectively with diverse groups
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other technology tools used in a business setting
Ability to convey a professional image and represent the university appropriately
