Associate Director, Product - Managed Security / SASE
About the position You'll be responsible for the group of product managers responsible for marketing strategy, design, and execution plan to grow Verizon Business Group's (VBG) Security products and solutions focused on Managed Security Services that include both on premise device management and in the cloud services. These products and services are sold across Business Markets, Global Enterprise, and Public Sector with specialist teams including Consulting Services, Security Specialist, and Solution Architects. You will leverage market data and insights, Verizon base customer and prospect analytics, customer persona types and other information to develop the appropriate launch strategy for new products and growth/nurture strategies for existing products. You will also serve as the product and portfolio CMO for your product areas working with the product management organization in the development of the product/portfolio business case, product success key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives and key results (OKRs). You will work in partnership and collaboration with product, segment marketing, sales, and solution architects to develop product / portfolio value proposition, customer outcome/benefits, VBG's market differentiation, and the channel and digital activation strategy. Responsibilities • Lead a group of product managers in marketing strategy, design, and execution for VBG's Security products. • Develop launch strategies for new products and growth strategies for existing products. • Serve as the product and portfolio CMO for assigned product areas. • Collaborate with product management to develop business cases, KPIs, and OKRs. • Work with marketing, sales, and solution architects to create value propositions and market differentiation. Requirements • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience. • Eight or more years of relevant experience. • Experience in Sales Enablement creation and execution. • Familiarity with SASE, Secure Service Edge Solutions, Managed Network Service, Managed Security Service, IAM, DDoS solutions, Secure Gateway, or Zero Trust technologies. Nice-to-haves • Experience in strategic consulting with a business development and marketing focus. • Strong project management, analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, communication, negotiating, and relationship-building skills. • Knowledge of security, network, and/or connectivity products. • Prior experience in marketing or product management with zero trust security technology, SASE, and Endpoint Security solutions. • Experience with Verizon wireless/mobility. • Public Sector experience (NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, FedRamp, FISMA).
