We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Associate Director of Teaching and Learning - Student Support to join our team in Las Cruces, New Mexico. As a key leader in our district, you will play a critical role in driving student success and supporting educators in creating a world-class learning environment.
About the Role:
Provide leadership and support for teaching and learning initiatives, with a focus on student support and success
Collaborate with district leaders, school administrators, and educators to develop and implement effective instructional practices
Develop and manage budgets for competitive grant applications, and contribute to the identification, research, and writing of grant proposals
Foster strong relationships with students, parents, district personnel, and community members
Utilize expertise in research-based instructional practices, Student Assistance Team processes, and 504 compliance to inform district initiatives
Requirements:
Possess or be eligible to obtain a valid New Mexico Public Education Department (PED) Administrative License (Level 3B)
Five years of teaching experience in a K-12 setting
Well-versed in current research-based instructional practices
Experience with Student Assistance Team processes and 504 processes and compliance
Building-level administrative experience or a district-level leadership role (specialist or coordinator)
Strong organization, communication, written, oral, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with computer and software applications
