The core platform technology, Encapsulated Cell Therapy (ECT), is a first-in-class drug delivery platform designed to slow the progression of chronic eye diseases. Neurotech’s first commercial product, ENCELTOTM (revakinagene taroretcel-lwey), is approved in the United States for the treatment of adults with idiopathic Macular Telangiectasia Type 2 (MacTel). Encapsulated cell-based gene therapy is designed to provide long-term, sustained delivery of therapeutic proteins for the treatment of chronic eye diseases.This is a remote position. We are seeking an Associate Director of Professional Education, to lead highly compliant professional engagement strategies that leverage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to drive education, advocacy, and adoption. They will report to the Senior Director, Professional Education. Join Neurotech in shaping the future of Retina care through impactful professional engagement and trusted partnerships.Role OverviewThe Associate Director will lead the execution of professional education initiatives, including speaker programs, surgical and speaker training, commercial symposia, and KOL-driven non-personal promotion (NPP).This individual will oversee steering committees, advisory boards and ECP engagement strategies to generate actionable insights that inform brand strategy and field execution.This role partners closely with Brand Marketing, Sales, Market Development Team, and Medical Affairs to drive alignment across all customer engagement efforts and ensure programs are executed with excellence, compliance, and scientific rigor.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design and execution of professional education across key channels including speaker bureau, surgical training, symposia, and KOL-driven NPPDevelop pull-through strategies to ensure field adoption and measurable impactEnsure compliant needs assessments, execution and tracking of all KOL engagementsOversee operations for speaker training, speaker programs and symposia including, including identification, training, performance management, budget management, and sunshine reportingExecute advisory boards and translate insights into actionable strategiesPartner cross-functionally to align customer engagement effortsEnsure compliance with Medical, Legal, and Regulatory requirementsManage budget, vendors, and performance metricsHelp breed a culture of customer-centricity and a focus on patient unmet need throughout the organizationExperience & QualificationsBS/BA degree required; MBA or other related graduate degree preferred8-10+ years of biotech/pharma marketing, professional education, or field leadership experienceWillingness/ability to travel domestically up to 75% of the time; international travel may be requiredEstablished relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in ophthalmology and retina Strong HCP marketing experience including P2P, NPP, digital, and agency managementLaunch experience requiredExperience with KOL engagement, speaker programs, and advisory boards requiredOphthalmology experience required; Retina experience preferredKnowledge, Skills & CapabilitiesStrategic thinker with ability to translate insights into executionStrong cross-functional leadership skillsDeep understanding of compliance in HCP engagementExcellent communication and executive presenceData-driven mindset with performance optimization experienceEntrepreneurial and solutions-oriented approachPassion for improving patient outcomesNeurotech Pharmaceuticals provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
