Associate Designer, Digital + Paid Media
Crate and Barrel is a leading retailer specializing in high-quality home furnishings. They are seeking an Associate Designer, Digital + Paid Media to focus on digital advertising and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the execution of creative concepts across multiple channels. Responsibilities Execute creative projects for the digital channel which includes social media and web banners Collaborate with design leads and external teams to ensure new campaigns are produced at standards that uphold/elevate the company’s brand identity Build cross-functional relationships and interact daily with multiple internal teams on creative initiatives Approach design projects from a user-centered perspective and manage projects while working within schedule requirements and quick turn-arounds Assist in edits and production to ensure high quality creative from the start of a project to finish Contribute to the development of best practices and procedures, techniques and tools to optimize efficiency Skills Strong visual design skills with an ability to execute under the direction of other designers Experience working with 3rd parties when executing web banners (Google, Spark, etc.) Strong organizational, time management and project management skills; able to manage multiple projects and meet all necessary deadlines Ability to work in a highly collaborative cross-functional team environment and partner with business stakeholders and other designers Demonstrate flexibility and adaptiveness Ability to problem-solve creatively Must provide a link to portfolio (including password) on resume or provide PDF samples of social and/or digital campaigns Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field 1+ years experience as a visual or production designer; familiarity with Retail industry a plus Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere and After Effects Knowledge with animation/motion and HTML a plus Benefits Bonuses Sales incentives Long term incentives Company Overview At Crate & Barrel, we help people build a home with purpose.
