What You'll Do: Making an Impact Every Day

As an Associate Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll serve as the first point of contact for patients, referral sources, and clinicians seeking home medical equipment solutions. Your role is critical in ensuring seamless ordering and delivery of HME products that patients need to maintain their health and independence.

Key Responsibilities Include:


Providing exceptional first-line communication with customers, referral sources, and clinicians to facilitate efficient ordering and delivery of home medical equipment products
Educating customers on our broad portfolio of HME products, supplies, and services, helping them understand their options and make informed decisions
Recommending medically appropriate, cost-effective HME solutions tailored to meet the homecare, mobility, testing, and respiratory needs of each customer
Delivering basic technical support to troubleshoot issues and ensure customer satisfaction
Playing a vital role in increasing comfort and quality-of-life for individuals recovering from illness, injury, or living with a disability
Building strong relationships with healthcare providers and referral networks to ensure continuity of care
Accurately documenting customer interactions and maintaining detailed records in our systems
Staying current on product knowledge, healthcare regulations, and industry best practices


What We're Looking For: Qualifications & Skills

Required Qualifications:


Experience: Minimum 1 year of customer service experience required; 2+ years preferred
Education: Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree required
Healthcare Certification: Medical Terminology and Medical Coding certification must be obtained upon hire
Healthcare Background: 1 year of experience in a patient-facing healthcare environment, insurance registration, or insurance billing
Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex medical information clearly and compassionately


Preferred Qualifications:


0-2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician or Customer Service Representative in a healthcare-related service environment
Familiarity with medical billing codes and insurance processing
Previous experience with home medical equipment or durable medical equipment (DME)
Bilingual capabilities (Spanish preferred, though not required)
