They are seeking an Associate in Business Development to help capture new business across various distribution platforms and introduce investment strategies to potential clients.ResponsibilitiesResearch, build relationships and develop a pipeline of opportunities through outbound prospecting via phone calls, emails, social media and other meansQualify inbound leads and manage the initial stages of the sales pipelineConduct research to identify potential prospects and decision-makers within targeted accountsWork with Investment Services/Business Development team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectivesSet up meetings and appointments for the Senior Business Development team with qualified leadsMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of all activities in our CRM systemCollaborate with internal teams to develop and implement lead-generation strategiesProvide feedback to help improve our products, services, and processesStay up-to-date with industry trends and best practicesParticipate in the weekly sales and business development meetingCollaborate with other teams as needed and perform any other related tasks assigned by the immediate superiorSkillsBachelor's degree in business administration or related disciplineMinimum of 1-2 years of experience in business development in insurance, banking or financial industryProactive, self-starter and highly motivatedDisciplined individual with a high energy level and a progressive business attitudeGoal-oriented with a passion for salesStrong communication, presentation and interpersonal skillsOutstanding relationship builder, you build trust through respect and authenticityAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProficient in CRM software and other prospecting tools such as Salesforce, ZoomInfo and other softwareExcellent organizational and time management skillsA positive attitude and a strong work ethicBilingualism would be an asset (French and English)BenefitsComprehensive benefits program ranging from Medical and Dental coverage to Life and Disability Insurance, all as of day 1.Employer contribution to a deferred profit-sharing plan (DPSP).Company OverviewFounded in 1987, Letko, Brosseau & Associates Inc. is an independent investment manager with offices in Montreal, Toronto and Calgary.
