Associate Band Director - Grades 6
Position Summary: The Associate Band Director will co-direct the instruction and development of a comprehensive band program for grades 6–12. This person will be enthusiastic, student-centered, and committed to fostering musical growth across a wide range of ensembles through collaboration with the existing band director. This position offers a unique opportunity to co-teach middle school and high school band classes, contribute to a vibrant marching and jazz program, and support a thriving extracurricular music culture.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in music education or related field.
Valid Indiana teaching license or eligibility to obtain one.
Proficiency on woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments.
Experience with or strong interest in working with students in both middle and high school settings.
