WHO WE WANT TO HIRE We are seeking to hire an experienced Associate Attorney to add to our Scottsdale, Arizona-based team for our Workers’ Compensation practice area. The candidate must have the ability to successfully handle a large volume of files and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced professional environment. An individual with a foundation in legal research, writing, and analysis who desires an opportunity to learn, litigate, and grow with one of Arizona's top insurance defense firms. Independently conduct research and analyze various case laws, rules, and statutes, including but not limited to the Arizona Workers’ Compensation. Understand and apply legal analysis to provide effective counsel to clients. Review and analyze voluminous medical records and discovery and combine with legal analysis, resulting in client summarizations and status updates. Assist the supervising attorney with litigation preparation and strategy by drafting written discovery requests and responses, completing document redaction, conducting potential witness interviews, and addressing other assigned tasks relevant to litigation and discovery on a case-by-case basis. QUALIFICATIONS Must have a Juris Doctor degree Must be licensed to practice in the state of Arizona Experience in workers’ compensation/litigation experience preferred Superior writing and communication skills Excellent organization and prioritization skills Experience with medical terminology and language is preferred, but not required ABOUT THE FIRM Brown Gren Abraham & McCracken LLC ( is an insurance defense firm that provides comprehensive and responsive legal services to employers and insurers throughout Colorado, Arizona, and Utah.
