The Associate Account Manager, Small & Medium Business is a pivotal role at Expedia Group, focusing on enhancing engagement with Vrbo's Vacation Rental Hosts. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about driving productivity and results within the Vrbo marketplace. The Associate Account Manager will work closely with Hosts to maximize their potential by leveraging unique data insights, marketing strategies, distribution channels, and revenue management tools. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who excels in a high-volume outbound call environment, utilizing persuasive communication skills to influence Host behavior and ensure their success on the platform. In this role, you will be responsible for consistently exceeding performance metrics set by leadership, establishing performance goals with partners, and developing actionable plans to secure commitment for the adoption and usage of Vrbo's tools and services. You will optimize content, rates, and availability to enhance booking conversions and manage a large volume of clients through multiple consultations daily. Understanding key demand and supply indicators, economic data, trends, and competitive information within the designated market will be crucial for your success. Additionally, you may be required to travel up to 20% for in-person consultations, further emphasizing the need for strong client communication and relationship-building skills. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience, along with 2 to 4 years of sales, client services, or account management experience. Familiarity with the vacation rental industry is a plus, as is proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and Tableau. A results-driven mindset, superb organizational skills, and the ability to interpret performance and market data to implement impactful action plans are essential for this role. Overall, the Associate Account Manager will play a critical role in driving the success of Vacation Rental Hosts on the Vrbo platform, ensuring a quality experience for both Hosts and Travelers alike.

Responsibilities
• Work collaboratively with Hosts to improve their productivity and results within Vrbo's marketplace.

Requirements
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field or equivalent professional work experience.

• 2 to 4 years of sales, client services, or account management experience.

• Knowledge of the vacation rental industry is a plus.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

• Knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM systems and Tableau or other BI platforms.
