Assoc Program Manager

They are seeking an Associate Program Manager to assist with coordinating finance-related projects and programs, ensuring deliverables align with finance program requirements and operational expectations.ResponsibilitiesAssist with coordinating financeârelated projects and programs, including tracking milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues related to vendor operations, reporting, savings initiatives, and crossâfunctional deliveryAssist with the coordination and review of project and program deliverables and support finance program performance metrics and reporting, including compiling data, maintaining trackers, and assisting with basic analysis to support programâlevel insightsSupport business leaders and internal stakeholders to help ensure deliverables are complete, accurate, and aligned with finance program requirements and operational expectationsAssist with maintaining adherence to established finance program governance and control processes including maintaining documentation, using standard templates, supporting review checkpoints, and tracking approvalsCoordinate program and project reporting activities, including compiling updates related to spend tracking, savings initiatives, performance metrics, and overall delivery statusUse standard project management and finance tracking tools to support planning, tracking, reporting, and document managementAssist with the planning and coordination of crossâfunctional program meetings and working sessions, including scheduling, preparing materials, capturing notes, documenting decisions, and tracking action itemsProvide dayâtoâday support to stakeholders by reinforcing standard finance program processes, tracking expectations, and recurring reporting or reconciliation activities, under the guidance of managementBuild and maintain positive working relationships with internal stakeholders, Finance partners, Procurement, and vendors to support effective program and project deliveryPerform other duties as assignedSkillsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field with coursework or experience supporting project or program coordinationOne to three years of experience in project or program coordination, business operations, or related work supporting crossâfunctional initiatives (internships accepted)Preferred certifications include Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPMÂŽ), Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBAâ˘), or similar project, program, or process improvement certificationsFoundational knowledge of project and program management concepts, processes, and toolsUnderstanding of project and program lifecycles, including planning, execution, tracking, and closeâout activitiesStrong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritiesSolid analytical and problemâsolving skills, with the ability to organize, interpret, and summarize informationAbility to support tracking, reporting, and documentation for projects and programsStrong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly with diverse stakeholdersAbility to work effectively in crossâfunctional team environments, both independently and collaborativelyStrong attention to detail and followâthroughAbility to prioritize work and adapt to changing deadlines and competing prioritiesProficiency with common business and collaboration tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations, document repositories)BenefitsFlexible work arrangements that include remote and hybrid opportunitiesPaid time offTuition reimbursementAssist with student-loan repaymentHealth, dental, and vision insurancePrograms that support your mental health and well-beingCompetitive payBonusesInvestment plansAdditional paid time to volunteerCompany OverviewAt Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island (BCBSRI), we know that health is more than what happens at the doctorâs office.
