Assistant/Associate Professor of English
The General Studies Division in South Florida Bible College & Theological Seminary’s (SFBC&TS) College of Arts & Sciences is seeking a qualified candidate to join our faculty as an Assistant/Associate Professor of English. The teaching focus will be on creative writing and composition courses. This position will be located at SFBC&TS’s Deerfield Beach, FL campus and will start in August of 2025. The applicant must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Teach undergraduate courses (Reading and Writing Essentials, Beginning College Writing, Composition I and II, Literature). The successful candidate will be expected to teach a combination of online and on-campus courses and to develop, review, and update curriculum. Faculty at SFBC&TS are expected to attend all required meetings and advise a select number of students.
Preferred Qualifications:Earned Ph.D. in English with an emphasis in Composition and Rhetoric, plus experience teaching Composition.
Essential Qualifications:Earned MA in English, Literature, or Composition and Rhetoric, or a master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in English, Communications, Creative Writing, Journalism, Linguistics, Rhetoric, or Composition.Expectations:
