**Job Description**
As an Assistant Teacher, you will aid in fostering a developmental and educational environment for children aged 2-5. You will be responsible for assisting the Lead Teacher in preparing lesson plans, coordinating play and learning activities, and maintaining a safe and clean classroom.
**Responsibilities**
– Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing curriculum and daily activities.
– Support children’s emotional and social development, encouraging understanding of others and positive self-concepts.
– Facilitate a nurturing and inclusive environment for all children.
– Assist with daily classroom activities and operations.
– Participate in staff meetings and development training.
**Requirements**
– High School Diploma or equivalent.
– Minimum of 6 months experience in a childcare setting.
– Passion for working with children and commitment to their education and wellbeing.
– Must pass background check and health screening.
– Ability to work a flexible schedule within our operating hours.
**Educational Qualifications**
Preferred candidates will have an Associates or Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. However, we are willing to consider applicants who are working towards their degree.
**Experience**
Experience in a preschool or daycare setting is advantageous, but not essential. We value enthusiasm and dedication to child development.
