Assistant Regulatory Analyst (Hybrid - Manchester, CT)

Bob's Discount Furniture is a leading omni-channel furniture retailer seeking an Assistant Regulatory Analyst. This role supports compliance with product safety and sustainability regulations, working with various teams to administer compliance programs and manage data effectively. Responsibilities Support Bob’s compliance with product safety, social responsibility, and sustainability laws and regulations Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to help administer key Compliance programs, including third-party product testing, factory social compliance auditing, and due diligence of vendor and factory partners Apply strong analytical and data management skills to evaluate Bob’s assortment and its manufacturers and, under supervision, provide direction aligned with company policies Independently maintain, validate, organize, and add new records to Compliance Department systems Experience collecting, managing, and reporting data, especially in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite Support administration of product safety, vendor management, and social compliance programs Assist with third-party testing and factory social audit programs Contribute to continuous surveillance of regulatory environments Skills Bachelor's degree in a STEM or legal discipline One to three years of relevant experience in regulatory compliance, product safety, product development, or a related technical field (STEM degree or internship may substitute for one year of experience) Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle changing priorities, and collaborate cross-functionally Experience in product compliance, regulatory, scientific, legal, or product development fields Consumer products industry experience Experience with PowerBI, SharePoint, supply chain applications, or SAP Benefits Competitive Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Generous PTO including vacation, personal days, sick leave, holidays, and your birthday 401(k) Profit Sharing with company match Tuition reimbursement & professional development Employee discount starting Day 1 Employer-paid life insurance and pet insurance options And more!
