Job Summary The Assistant Principal will support the Principal in overseeing the daily operations of the school, fostering a nurturing and academically rigorous environment grounded in Catholic values. This individual will collaborate closely with the Principal, faculty, staff, students, parents, and parish leadership to uphold and further the mission of the school. The Assistant Principal will play a vital role in spiritual leadership, curriculum support, student discipline, and faculty development. Job Responsibilities • Assist in the implementation and evaluation of a comprehensive, faith-based academic curriculum for K–8 students. • Support and supervise faculty and staff in daily operations, professional development, and faith formation. • Partner with the Principal and Pastor to promote the spiritual and academic vision of the school. • Help ensure compliance with school policies, archdiocesan guidelines, and state education regulations. • Promote a Christ-centered environment by organizing and participating in school liturgies, prayer services, and faith-based initiatives. • Work with students, faculty, and families to support student behavior, discipline, and character development rooted in Catholic values. • Coordinate student services such as counseling, academic support, and extracurricular activities. • Foster strong communication and relationships with students, parents, faculty, and the wider parish community. • Assist with enrollment, marketing, and community engagement efforts. • Support the Principal in managing school operations, including scheduling, safety procedures, and faculty evaluations. • Contribute to financial oversight, including budgeting and fundraising initiatives as needed. Job Requirements • Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field (preferred or in progress). • Minimum of three years’ experience in education, preferably in a Catholic school setting. • Demonstrated leadership ability and experience working with faculty, students, and families. • Knowledge of Catholic teaching, values, and the mission of Catholic education. • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. • Ability to work collaboratively with the Principal, Pastor, staff, and community stakeholders.
