Assistant Project Manager, Electrical Products

They are seeking an Assistant Project Manager for Electrical Products to assist in executing projects within critical hyperscale datacenter programs and ensure effective communication with internal and external customers.ResponsibilitiesAssists Project Managers as required on high complexity, large-scale projectsAccountable for commercial, technical, engineering, and scheduling aspects of intricate/highly technical electrical distribution equipment projects at the direction of the project managerReview quality documents and submit to project stakeholdersAssists with external facing coordination of equipment deliveries with site personnel including general contractors and electrical contractorsEnsure efficient progression of orders from PO Submittal through on-site commissioningPromptly resolve post-shipment issues through prioritization and comprehensive communication strategies and manual line managementCollaborate with the entire order value chain to deliver exceptional customer experienceEnsure all required project documentation is submitted according to required timelines and adheres to customer defined specificationsDevelop changing order proposals as part of managing the overall projectCollaborate with team members to solve for complex technical design issues and challengesDisplays a high level of critical thinking in bringing successful resolution to high impact, complex and/or cross-functional problemsComplies with Siemens policies and proceduresSkillsBachelor's degree in engineering, Construction, Building Construction Management or Business Administration1 plus years of experience in project management or project administration including direct industry (General Contractor, Electrical Contractor, Electrical Equipment)Experience with the application and concepts of Electrical ProductsProficiency within Microsoft Office 365Proficiency with PDF editing toolsMust be eligible to work in the US with no sponsorship now or in the futureBS in engineering or business degreeWorking with construction marketDemonstrates problem solving skills to stakeholders on various Electrical productsMaintains excellent organizational skills to store critical company and customer files including E-mails, Purchase Agreements, Contract Drawings and Specifications, Bid Proposals, Project Schedules, Meeting Minutes, Submittal documentsMust be highly organized, highly motivated and a detail-directed problem solverDemonstrates and apply leadership skillsHigh level communication skills, both verbal and writtenWorking knowledge of project management processesDemonstrate and apply strong interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skillsBenefitsSiemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to our employees.Company OverviewSiemens empowers customers to transform the industries that form the backbone of economies: industry, transportation, buildings and grids.
