Assistant Product Manager

As an Assistant Product Manager, you will support the development and execution of product and merchandising strategies for specific product categories, collaborating with various teams to ensure successful product launches and performance.ResponsibilitiesRun and analyze sales reporting. Generate reports on product sales performance and provide insights on category trends and opportunitiesEvaluate product performance. Assist in reviewing SKU performance, product assortment effectiveness, and category profitabilityMonitor product portfolios. Help manage product assortments and recommend updates to improve product line performanceSupport product development execution. Partner with sourcing and manufacturing teams to help manage product specifications, timelines, and vendor submissionsLead select project initiatives. Provide project management support for product development and marketing initiatives across channelsSupport the sales organization. Assist with product-related inquiries, product details, and issue resolution to support field teamsCollaborate cross-functionally. Work closely with marketing, sales, sourcing, operations, finance, and manufacturing teams to bring new consumer products to marketSkillsBA/BS in Business, Marketing, Product Development, or equivalent combination of education and experience1–2 years of experience supporting physical product development, merchandising, or product line managementExperience working with consumer products, merchandise, or retail product assortmentsExposure to new product, category, or business development from concept through launchUnderstanding of product life cycles and the marketing mix (4P's)Familiarity with online and offline marketing strategies, including catalog, retail, and digital channelsWorking knowledge of MS Access and PowerPointStrong ability to manage timelines, analyze data, and drive initiatives forwardStrong interpersonal, written, verbal, and presentation abilities across all levels of the organizationAbility to leverage internal resources effectively to meet business objectivesActively seeks diverse perspectives to drive better solutions and resultsPreferred Desktop publishing experienceBenefitsWe offer competitive healthcare (health, dental, vision, coverage) in addition to voluntary benefits including home and car insurance, pet insurance, flexible spending account, amongst many more.Our 401K plan has immediate vesting, so you can start saving for retirement right away.We offer a hybrid schedule with on-site work 3 days a week.We believe in taking your time off without guilt and offer accrued paid time off and company paid holidays.For Washington residents, you will receive 13 vacation days, 8 paid sick leave, 8 company paid holidays, and family paid leave.We support tuition reimbursement after 6 months of service.Company OverviewJostens provides school related products in the United States.
