Assistant Manager Medical Coding & Credentialing / REMOTE
The GetixHealth outsourced medical services division provides medical coding, healthcare consulting and credentialing services to hospitals, clinics, and medical providers throughout the United States. Our entity is expanding with new clients and are seeking a professional to assist in delivery of our outstanding healthcare services. GetixHealth supports our clients as they navigate increasing medical encounter volumes, reducing days in the revenue cycle and dealing with staffing shortages.
Compensation: $72,800+ based on experience, Annual Bonus Eligibility
Schedule: 8:00am - 5:00pm CST, Monday - Friday
JOB SUMMARY
Oversee medical coding and credentialing staff while providing contracted services to our Healthcare clients. Provide assurance of accurate, timely and compliant services while furnishing outstanding communication.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Expertise in understanding the challenges of revenue cycle management, project management and meeting strict timelines
Screen, plan, staff and execute workflow for new engagements
Manage healthcare projects or have coordinated staffing coverage
Oversee processing of physician credentialing with payors
Provides oversight of the outsourced engagements by assuring the quality of the service line product, while simultaneously meeting the client's requests for services
Facilitate and coordinate the training of existing and new professional coding, consulting or credentialing staff

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATIONAL CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
High School or GED
Additional tertiary education / courses highly preferred
Excellent people and supervisory skills
Able to describe good customer service
Expertise in understanding the challenges of revenue cycle management, project management and meeting strict timelines
Minimum of 2 years of abstract coding experience for inpatient and outpatient services
Experience and or an understanding of government and commercial enrollment is desired but not required.
Experience managing healthcare projects
Experience coordinating staffing coverage
2 Years minimum of abstract coding experience
Must hold one of these certificates and be able to provide copy:
CPC, Specialty
CIC
CCS
CCS-P
CCS-H
