Assistant Manager / Manager, Advertising & Paid Digital Media
About the position Responsibilities • Create and implement paid social media and other digital advertising campaigns • Launch and optimize sponsored campaigns across retail media platforms such as Amazon, Roundel, and Walmart • Monitor live digital ad campaigns and provide performance reports in a timely manner • Reserve advertising campaigns with outside vendors and submit creative assets • Brainstorm advertising recommendations for titles across the company • Stay current on digital advertising innovations and identify new tools, vendors, or technologies to improve campaign processes and outcomes • Run essential team meetings with imprint marketing teams and other stakeholders to review active advertising jobs, discuss future titles plans, and track asset production with the design team • Analyze marketing data, conceptualize trends, and prepare presentations to present to various audiences across the company • Attend marketing meetings, launch meetings, and other key author/title focus meetings • Support the department as needed with scheduling meetings, invoicing, and keeping our internal design system accurate and up to date while displaying an eagerness to introduce operational improvements to modernizing team workflows and automating parts of campaign execution Requirements • Candidate should have three or more years of relevant experience. • They should be exceptionally well-organized, detail oriented, possess positive communication skills, and be able to work in a high-volume environment while prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and some self-serve ad platforms (Meta, Google, Amazon, etc.) are a must. Nice-to-haves • Knowledge of Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, Analytics), FileMaker, AirTable, Zoom, or PowerBI is beneficial. • Experience with automated campaign tools, workflow automation platforms, or API-based campaign setup is a plus.
