Assistant Manager, Executive Compensation

JOB SUMMARY

The Assistant Manager, Executive Compensation is an integral member of the Executive Compensation team and plays a key role in global stock plan data management and analysis and executive compensation administration to support the company’s global stock programs and executive compensation that enable the company to attract and retain top talent. The Assistant Manager will report to the VP, Executive Compensation and work closely with other members of the executive compensation team to successfully manage external consultants, global stock plan compliance efforts and executive compensation data management efforts.

Education and Experience

Required
• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience.
• Proficient in basic computer skills, mathematical reasoning, oral and reading comprehension, and effective written communication.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

Preferred
• Strong project management skills, ability to prioritize activities and work on multiple projects at once.
• Excellent data management and analysis skills; ability to review and analyze complex data.
• Champions excellence in business ethics and integrity, social responsibility, cross-cultural effectiveness, and associate engagement.
• CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
• Supports global equity programs including stock grants and distributions as well as Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
• Administers tax and legal compliance needs for granting stock awards outside of the U.S.
• Supports global executive compensation programs reporting needs including surveys, tally sheets, bonus plans, long-term performance plans, perquisites, and external vendors.
• Manages data needed for annual proxy compensation table reporting by partnering with others including representatives from legal and finance.
• Presents ideas, expectations, and information in a concise, organized manner.
• Uses problem solving methodology for decision making and follow up.
• Manages time effectively and conducts activities in an organized manner.
• Supports special projects as needed.

The salary range for this position is $61,400 to $97,600 annually. Marriott offers a bonus program, comprehensive health care benefits, 401(k) plan with up to 5% company match, employee stock purchase plan at 15% discount, accrued paid time off (including sick leave where applicable), life insurance, group disability insurance, travel discounts, adoption assistance, paid parental leave, health savings account (except for positions based out of or performed in Hawaii), flexible spending accounts, tuition assistance, pre-tax commuter benefits, other life and work wellness benefits, and may include other incentives such as stock awards and deferred compensation plans.
