About the job Assistant Manager, eCommerce Product and Customer Experience (Remote)
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
ā¢ Assist with web design and development agency on all ecommerce projects
ā¢ Assist with the management of the ecommerce platform release cycle including business case, feature prioritization, requirements, design, use cases, mockups, process maps, testing, and implementation
ā¢ Pitch, build, and test website functionality and tools to increase site performance, user experience, and overall revenue
ā¢ Assist with the management of the day-to-day site operations working with other functional support areas including, IT, Marketing, Distribution, and Customer Engagement Center (CEC)
ā¢ Work with commercial team members to appropriately represent Hotels branding, campaigns, and hotel attributes
ā¢ Ability to analyze website data and distill customer insights, customer struggle points, and conversion opportunities
ā¢ Collaborate with Manager Ecommerce & Channel Marketing on A/B and Multivariate testing opportunities
ā¢ Collaborate with Distribution and CEC Team to optimize platform functionality and customer experience
ā¢ Collaborate with Digital Marketing Team on digital media campaign positioning on website
ā¢ Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting and analysis. Ability to communicate complicated trends and analysis data to multiple stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
ā¢ Experience working with custom and off-the-shelf Content Management Systems
ā¢ Familiarity with Google Analytics and Adobe Omniture
ā¢ Strong proficiency with task sequencing, dependencies, and third-party vendor responsibilities for eCommerce platform implementation projects
ā¢ Working knowledge of SEO best practices
ā¢ Excellent written and verbal skills
ā¢ Ability to work independently and demonstrate keen attention to details
ā¢ Manages prioritization, can meet deadlines, and be flexible based on business requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
ā¢ Experience in UX and mobile design
ā¢ Project and product management certifications
ā¢ Project management software experience (MS Project or equivalent)
ā¢ Familiarity with Sabre Syn Xis CRS, Oracle Opera database, and Hospitality (Micros) products
