Assistant Cost Manager

In this role, you will work with experienced teams to monitor project progress, prepare estimates, and manage financial close-outs while building strong relationships with clients and team members.ResponsibilitiesAttend key meetings and design reviews to monitor progress, actively collaborate on solving problems and communicate impacts to partnersParticipate in site walks with GC, Cost Manager and client PM, assessing progress and identifying potential cost impactsEffectively consolidate data to prepare detailed estimates, and ad-hoc cost reports and analysesMaintain the project change management logs, with detail focus and accuracyPartner with the extended Cost Management team to complete complex client tasksMonitor the financial close-out on all projects including settlement of all vendorsSkillsHave a degree or comparable experience in a project management or construction disciplineAre chartered or are on the path to complete it.
