Assistant Branch Banking Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Branch Banking Manager to join our team at Apple Bank for Savings. As a key member of our branch banking team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful operation of our branches.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic banking environment where you will be responsible for providing leadership and support to our branch teams. You will work closely with our branch managers to develop and implement sales strategies, ensuring that all policies, procedures, and controls have been implemented to protect the bank against monetary loss.
Main Responsibilities
Sales Strategies: Develop and implement sales strategies in collaboration with the branch manager, utilizing sales coaching techniques to ensure established branch goals are attained.
Operational Support: Provide ongoing support to the branch manager in the efficient operation of the branch, including the supervision of staff, management of cash handling, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Cash Handling: Oversee the management of cash handling, including the reconciliation of branch general ledger accounts and the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
Requirements
A high school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor's degree preferred.
No less than six years of experience in customer service/supervisory roles within a banking/retail environment.
Minimum three years of operations experience, preferably in banking.
