Robert Half are proud to be exclusively representing a leading Financial Services client in Cambridge who are seeking an experienced or ambitious Assistant Accountant to join their team on a 6-month contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic finance team with the flexibility of working remotely.Location: Remote (with occasional office attendance in Cambridge)Contract: 6 MonthsRate: £13 - £15 per hour (equivalent to £33,000-£35,000 p.a.)Start: ASAPKey Responsibilities
Posting journals and preparing balance sheet and bank reconciliations
Running invoicing cycles and Direct Debit collections
Preparing VAT returns
Supporting audit processes
Exposure to Financial Services accounting highly desirable
Use of Xero and Aspire accounting systems
Who We're Looking ForThis role would suit either:
A professional interim with prior Assistant Accountant experience, or
A bright, ambitious candidate looking to develop under guidance in a fast-paced finance function
