Position Overview The BIM Engineer II has a primary focus on performing all levels of production and coordination activities. BIM Engineers are the primary production delivery resource for ARKANCE US BIM services involving modeling and coordination of various trades and content creation. Qualifications • Advanced skills in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, BIM360 Docs and Design capabilities. • Effectively utilize Microsoft Office software for completion of various tasks (i.e., Word, Excel, OneNote, Outlook) • Strong skillset in the use of Bluebeam solutions. • Continuously demonstrate self-improvement. • Show excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. • Exhibit a proactive attitude and demonstrate strong self-motivational attributes. • Demonstrate a sense of pride and adhere to high standards and quality personally and in their work product and services. • Thrive in a team atmosphere. • Possess superior organizational/time management skills and a “make-it-happen” attitude with the abilities to multi-task several projects at one time. • Adhere to the utmost business ethics ensuring ARKANCE USA maintains its respected image at all times • Maintain experience and understanding of the production, design, and construction environment. • Maintain a good working attitude and a desire to be a key member of our dynamic team and make a difference in the design industry. • Willingness and flexibility to take on other duties and responsibilities that may be required to effectively support the needs of our customers, Autodesk, and ARKANCE US. • At least 5 years of experience as a BIM Engineer I (or equivalent) Essential Functions · Creating Architectural, Mechanical HVAC, DWV, Mechanical Pipe, Plumbing, Process Pipe and/or Electrical BIMs · Lead BIM Coordination meetings and exhibit a strong understanding of construction principles. · Support room for our trades in the interstitial space · Collaborating with other disciplines and provide subject matter leadership to the delivery team(s) when needed · Aiding in the creation of Revit families, as needed · Assist with the estimation and scoping of new project opportunities. · Complete weekly accounting of time through entry of digital timesheets. · Typical Time allocation Targets for BIM Engineers are as follows: o 85%-95% Billable hours o 5%-15% Overhead hours *Individual targets may vary based on assignments and initiatives tasked to the team member. · All other duties as assigned · Duties and assignments are subject to change Pay range for this position: $75,000-$90,000 ARKANCE USA LLC provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
