Area Sales Manager - South West
Location: Northwest U.S. (Remote β must reside in region)
Territory: CO, NV, OR, WA, AZ, UT, CA, NM
Salary: Base $60-90K + 5% Commission
Employment Type: Full-time

About The Role
An innovative medical technology company advancing powered prosthetic solutions is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive regional growth across the Northwest territory.
This field-based role is designed for a sales professional with established relationships in the Orthotics & Prosthetics (O&P) space. The ideal candidate combines consultative selling skills with an entrepreneurial approach and thrives in a growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Develop and execute territory sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets
β’ Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through close
β’ Identify new business opportunities within O&P clinics, distributors, and partners
β’ Build and strengthen relationships with key O&P stakeholders
β’ Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations
β’ Expand revenue within existing accounts while cultivating new clinic partnerships
β’ Monitor regional trends and customer needs
β’ Provide actionable feedback to leadership and product teams
β’ Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM reporting
β’ Provide consistent updates on sales activity and regional performance
β’ Represent the organization at trade shows and regional industry events
β’ Contribute to overall brand visibility and customer journey initiatives
Qualifications
Required
β’ 5β7 years of B2B sales experience (medical device or O&P strongly preferred)
β’ Established relationships within the O&P profession
β’ Proven history of meeting or exceeding quota
β’ Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and presentation skills
β’ Ability to manage multiple accounts independently
β’ Willingness to travel extensively within the territory (~70%)
β’ Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools
Preferred
β’ Experience selling O&P technology solutions
β’ Background in startup or high-growth medical device environments
β’ Experience with CRM systems and pipeline tracking tools
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
