Architecture Associate (entry level / recent grad)

BDG Architects has an immediate need for a talented, creative and motivated individual as an Architecture Associate to work within the Program Studio team under the direct supervision of a team leader for a national client portfolio. The candidate must have excellent proficiency in AutoCAD. A Degree in Architecture is required. This position introduces the individual to the many levels associated with a project and program over a period of up to two (2) years.

Role and Responsibilities

· Perform interior/exterior/remote retrofits for national client.

· Utilizing best practices, establish project milestones and monitor project from concept to close-out.

· Create, review, update and distribute Design Review Committee Pro Packages, Design Review Committee Approved Construction Documents, and Project Delivery Reports.

Desired Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

· General knowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures in an architectural office is preferred.

· Must demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office. Revit a plus.

· Familiarity with building codes and standards is a plus.

· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively and professionally with other team members.

· Ability to accept direction to reach common goals for successful outcomes.

· Strong organizational and time management skills.

· Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.

· Strong written and oral communication skills.

· Exceptional problem-solving skills.

· Must value accuracy and thoroughness in all work with strict and careful attention to detail.

· Self-starter who takes ownership of tasks and projects.
