Arbitrator (remote/part-time)

Position Overview: We are seeking highly qualified, part-time Arbitrators to join our panel. This is a remote, flexible opportunity ideal for experienced attorneys who have a deep commitment to justice, demonstrate sound judgment, and are known for their professionalism, empathy, and even temperament. Key Responsibilities: • Serve as a neutral decision-maker in assigned arbitration matters. • Review case materials, facilitate hearings (virtually), and render clear, well-reasoned written decisions. • Maintain the highest standards of impartiality and confidentiality throughout all proceedings. • Communicate respectfully and effectively with all parties, regardless of background or representation. • Demonstrate high emotional intelligence by managing sensitive situations with empathy and fairness. • Actively listen to all parties to ensure that each voice is fully heard and considered. Qualifications: • J.D. from a top-tier law school. • Minimum of 10 years of legal practice with significant practical experience in litigation, corporate, or dispute resolution contexts. • Demonstrated experience in contract law, business law, or commercial litigation. • Prior arbitration, mediation, or judicial experience is strongly preferred. • Excellent writing and analytical skills; able to distill complex legal issues into fair and understandable decisions. • High emotional intelligence and the ability to listen actively and respond with empathy and clarity. • Friendly, calm demeanor and a reputation for fairness and integrity. • Strong commitment to impartiality and professional ethics.
